Banana chips Feeding bananas to horses can offer benefits due to them containing: Potassium – As well as helping muscles and nerves to work, potassium will also help to keep your horse's heart healthy. Vitamin B6 – This helps your horse's body turn carbohydrates and fats into energy. Fenugreek Traditionally it was used to help increase the weight of horses and cattle, it can also help increase milk production. Mint Peppermint and Spearmint have an antispasmodic effect on the digestive system, mint may help to expel gas for horses prone to colic and also serves as a soothing appetite stimulant. -
